Editorial Guidelines

We have introduced editorial guidelines because Visual Bride wish to provide visitors with good quality content. Visual Bride also believe that enforcing such guidelines will also benefit the advertising business.

Each advert will be approved by our team. If your advert is not approved at any time during the subscription, your advert will be paused. The Editorial team should always provide an explanation. Once the suggested changes have been implemented by the advertiser, the advert will be reactivated.

If you wish to request an exception to our editorial guidelines, you may do so by emailing: accountinfo@visualbride.com

Company Description

All company descriptions should accurately describe the business and services. They should describe your business's style and personality. Explain why a bride should use your services. What makes your business unique?

All adverts should:
contain accurate grammar and spelling
consist of more than 60 words use standard capitalisation (Our business has ...) not (OUR BUSINESS HAS)

Adverts should not:
include a website address in the text description.
contain obscene or offensive language.
contain superlatives such as "award winning ", "lowest" or "No. 1" unless the claim can be supported.

Testimonials

Testimonials must be provided by the genuine clients. They must not be falsified or exaggerated. Testimonials should include a full name where possible. It is also recommended that each testimonial include a date for either the wedding or the receipt of the testimonial.

Pricing

Quite simple...keep it up-to-date. All packages have are named VB1-5. We recommend that VB1 is your most expensive or comprehensive package. Unless you are Moving Image and have a package worth $10,000 that doesn't reflect typical projects! The idea is to make comparison easier for brides. All profiles should be consistent. We don't want a $500 package as VB1 and $1300 on a VB5 and the opposite everyone else. By the way VB stands for Visual Bride.

Website Link

Your website link should be accurate and link to a relevant page. The website must represent the business described in your text description.

Coverage Information

In most cases the 'Travel From' address will be the business location. Some businesses however use a business address such as "Canary Wharf" even though their business is based elsewhere. If you were to enter your 'Travel From' address as London Docklands, you may get more enquiries from brides getting married in Central London. However, you may prefer to use your home Zip code or some other suitable location.
